Dan Kinchen graduated from Leadership Seminole Class 16 today. Leadership Seminole is a 10 month program that gives you a behind the scenes tour of Seminole County while preparing and inspiring leaders to address the challenges facing the county.

One Step Solutions sponsored a 4 man team in this year's Chamber Golf Tournament, team members included; Dan Kinchen (One Step Solutions), Chris Miller (Brain Lab), Mike Mouser (AAA) and Michael Imlay (AAA). The team scored a score of 60.

Dan Kinchen attended the Orlando Ruby Users Group today, which was held at DeVry in Orlando, Florida. Ruby is a server side programming language.

The second day of Barcamp Orlando was media day. Although it rained most of the day, it was still a great success. Dan Kinchen gave a presentation entitled “A Search Engine Optimization Discussion”. The event was attended by President Dan Kinchen and web designer Pia Breshears.

Apr 05, 2008 - Izea Fest Geek Out Party
Izea held an after party for the first day of Barcamp Orlando 2008. Dan Kinchen attended the event and spent most of the time talking with Ryan Price of Florida Creatives and Tara Lamberson of Mind Comet about the future of Technology in Central Florida. They also talked about the possibility of a creation of a Tech Association. As far as the party, Izea hired a DJ, caters and promotion models dressed in Japanese school girl outfits. There were also rooms setup for game consoles such as PS3, Xbox and WII.

Apr 05, 2008 - Barcamp Orlando 2008 Dev Day
Barcamp Orlando was held this year in downtown Orlando at Wall Street Plaza. Presentations were given in Slingapours and One Eyed Jacks. Courtyard discussions were held in the plaza. Dan Kinchen gave the first presentation of the day, “Do we need a Tech Association in Central Florida”. One Step Solutions also sponsored this event.

Mar 29, 2008 - Tech Day for Charity :: Boys Town
One Step Solutions organized a Tech Day for Charity to help Leadership Seminole class 16 finish their class project to renovate 5 homes for Boys Town USA. During Tech Day for Charity, local techs came out and painted the interior of home number 5.
